Mental Illness: The Stigma of Silence

What I find interesting about The Stigma of Mental Illness is that individuals genetically predisposed to Bipolar Disorder are often laced with savant features. Upon recovery and for the most part maintained with lithium carbonate, when they return to work or school they can be far more effective than their stigmatizing counterparts. Since by its very nature, bipolar disorder includes stronger sexual desires and virility coupled with a more interesting and perhaps eccentric natural personality, men and women afflicted will do better at romance and relationships. All of this completely throws the evaluators who actually feel diminished because a former mental patient could possibly do better. As a sidebar, please know that even the life insurers who were bailed out by the federal government that forbids discrimination based on illness wil not issue policies to anyone connected to mental illness and clinics even if suicide is not included in the diagnosis. You must hire these people if they are qualified. This seems to be extremely illogical and with no basis to lean on.
